Alexanders event facilities are all conveniently situated on the picturesque main street in the center of town. Each of our properties is a preserved historic site, registered by the Frederick County Landmarks Foundation.

While you’ll enjoy the quaint hometown atmosphere and sense of history, you can have the modern conveniences of air-conditioning, cable television and WiFi Internet access. Our residences offer a variety of meeting spaces, spacious porches, inviting yards and gardens, period furnishings and one location even features a swimming pool. The Baker House

Est. 1896

Known locally as “The Wallpaper House”, this unique and memorable Victorian-period residence features exquisite wallpaper throughout the house that complements the intricately carved original woodwork, eye-catching stained glass and gorgeous tiled fireplaces. Discover a different spectacular design in every room, including beautifully wallpapered ceilings. The back yard arbor makes a lovely setting for marriage ceremonies and the patio areas are perfect for bar setups. The Stone House

Est. 1789

This stately stone house is an excellent choice for large family gatherings or small company retreats. An inviting glassed-in sun porch is a wonderful place to relax or hold small group meetings. It’s just steps to the charming guest cottage and beautiful spacious grounds and in-ground pool available for your outdoor event. The Auction House

Buckeystown’s former Auction House has been newly renovated with stone tile flooring, on-site restrooms and air-conditioning. This high-ceiling, wide-open 3,700 square-foot space allows for seating up to 250 people. It’s a perfect space for large receptions, crab feasts, fund-raisers, reunions, dinner dances and parties.
